Victor Wanyama Spotted At Tottenham Hotspur Stadium

If his recent appearances in Europe are any indication, former Harambee Stars captain Victor Wanyama could be returning to the English Premier League or the Scottish Premier League.

On Sunday, the former CF Montreal captain was at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in North London to watch his former team play in the English Premier League.

Spurs were defeated 2-1 by Liverpool, with Egyptian star Mo Salah scoring a brace in the first half. English captain Harry Kane scored the hosts’ consolation goal.

Wanyama’s appearance in England has fueled speculation that the combative midfielder is making a comeback to the Premier League.

The 31-year-old has been linked with a return to Europe, with Celtic FC among the reported suitors.

Wanyama was in London with his young family after saying farewell to CF Montreal, with several clubs in Europe interested in the hardworking midfielder.

Wanyama, who returned to Tottenham Hotspur after leaving in 2020, played for CF Montréal in Canada before departing last month.

He posted videos of himself doing interviews on a packed pitch at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in north London.

Wanyama was accompanied by Serah Teshna, his actress girlfriend, and their one-year-old son, Arel.

The actress shared a video of their son walking on an empty pitch after a match and captioned it: “Following daddy’s footsteps.”

Teshna also pampered her man with love, congratulating him on signing a new deal with the English Premier League club.

“Proud of you always. Thank you for setting the bar high for Arel. We love you,” read the post.

Wanyama, who joined Spurs from Southampton in 2016, left in March 2020 for a two-year stint with Montreal.

In 2016, he made headlines by becoming the first Kenyan player to play in the English Premier League.

His time at Tottenham was cut short due to injuries that kept him out of Portuguese manager Jose Mourinho’s squads.

He then moved to MLS, where he played alongside stars such as Gareth Bale, Zlatan Ibrahimovic, and Carlos Vela.
