Businessman Jimi Wanjigi spent his night in police cells at Kamukunji police station after his dramatic arrest from Westlands area.
He is expected in court this morning even after he got an order to stop his arraignment.
Police plan to have him arraigned where they will argue their case in which they plan to charge him and his wife Irene with alleged fraud.
Wanjigi had barricaded himself in his office for more than 20 hours as police sought to arrest him.
Justice Anthony Murima had issued orders to stop his arrest and prosecution.
