A wanted suspect was last night shot dead in a botched robbery and his motorcycle recovered in Buruburu area, Nairobi County.
Police said the suspect was using a green motorcycle and that his two accomplices managed to escape.
The suspect had been linked to a series of robberies in the area and was on a wanted list.
A pistol, mobile phone and an unmarked motorcycle were secured as evidence.
Police say they have intensified operations to tame armed gangs that are terrorizing residents in the city.
On Sunday, another suspect was shot dead in Kariadudu area, Kariobangi and a pistol magazine with two bullets found on him.
