Then there was the peace prayers in Kalonzo’s house. Attended by Uhuru. Did they add pressure for hand, leg shake or talks?
President William Ruto took the command of Kenya Defence Forces alone. No DP Gachagua. No first lady.
Uhuru was aptly striped of that role when his ADC officially took over the command of Ruto’s overall chief aid job.
Uhuru lapsed to a retiree, entitled only to police protection. No more Kenya Airforce round-the-clock surveillance
Meaning? The President of the Republic of Kenya is the senior most KDF Commander first. And a Politician second, owing to the path that he used to access office.
That is why the institution of the Republic of Kenya supersedes political interest of the day. And why the President is the custodian.
For this reason alone, the President is above the law. Until the day he retires. Was somebody trying to box Uhuru to commit a crime so that the little Hague matter can be revisited?
