ODPP presented its 25th witness in the Kenya Pipeline Company (KPC) corruption case.
The witness told court how the KPC Tender Committee also erred in engaging the Company without a proper contract between them & KPC and approving payment in phases which was not as per the Tender Agreement.
Court also heard that the Committee erred in giving improper communication on the tender to the bidders.
The prosecution has 8 more witnesses to testify.
The KPC Tender Committee is said to have conspired with Aero Dispenser Valves Company Limited to defraud KPC of USD 6,409,491.89 by overpricing the items to be supplied.
The hearing continues on 18th & 24th Nov. 2022.
