BY LILIAN MUNTHEU – The head of Teresa Wanjiru, the woman who was killed by her husband at Lereshwa, Kipipiri was found on a tree branch inside a paper bag.
Teresia Wanjiru was believed to have been in an abusive marriage that led to her brutal death. Her abusive husband allegedly killed her and cut her body into pieces.
Teresia’s body was found in a pit latrine in an abandoned nursery school with her head missing. After further investigations, investigating authorities found that other organs were also missing.
Her husband, Ng’ang’a, escaped from home after he was discovered but the villagers tracked him down to Karunga, Gilgil and exercised mob justice.
Police report that the village elders have requested to bury the head.
