Tottenham Hotspur has completed the signing of Mali midfielder Yves Bissouma, 25, from Brighton on a four-year deal worth £25 million-plus add-ons.
He is Tottenham’s third summer signing, following the free transfers of goalkeeper Fraser Forster and winger Ivan Perisic.
Bissouma made 124 appearances for Brighton after joining Lille in July 2018.
In January, the north London club expressed interest in signing him.
Last season, the coveted central midfielder started 26 Premier League games for the Seagulls, scoring once.
He was instrumental in Graham Potter’s side finishing ninth in the Premier League, the highest finish in the club’s history.
