Four people were seriously injured, while 18 cows were killed in a road accident involving three matatus.
The accident occurred at Mithini Bridge on the Machakos-Kitui highway in Machakos County on Thursday morning when the 14-seater matatus collided.
According to the police report, the matatus then rammed into a nearby herd of cattle, killing 18 cows on the spot.
The four injured passengers were taken to Masii Hospital in Mwala and the Machakos Level 5 Hospital.
