The Kenya National Examinations Council (KNEC) has announced that students who completed their final secondary examinations in 2022 can now collect their academic certificates.
This announcement applies to all Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) candidates from both public and private schools.
“Your certificates have arrived at the institution where you sat the exam and are ready for pickup,” KNEC stated, congratulating the former candidates on their achievements.
Meanwhile, students who took their KCSE exams in 2023 will have to wait longer for their certificates to be dispatched. KNEC has also released original certificates for students who undertook various examinations administered by the Council.
Diploma in Teacher Education (DTE) candidates from 2022 and 2023 have been informed that their certificates are ready for collection.
Similarly, students who completed the Diploma in Special Needs Education (DSNE) in 2022 and 2023 can now pick up their certificates.
Certificates for candidates who sat for Early Childhood Development exams in 2022 and 2023, as well as those for the 2023 Primary Teacher Examination, are also available.
Additionally, certificates for the Upgrade Programme for the Diploma in Primary Teacher Education (UPDTE) for 2022 and 2023 students can be collected from their examination centres.
Only students from the 2022 Upgrade Programme for the Diploma in Early Childhood Teacher Education (UDECTE) have had their certificates dispatched.
KNEC issues a temporary result slip before providing the original certificates. The Council has urged KCSE and other students not to delay in picking up their academic certificates.
