US Immigration Agent Fatally Shoots Woman During Minneapolis Confrontation

ICE Agent Kills Woman in Minneapolis, Sparking City-Federal Clash

A U.S. immigration agent fatally shot a woman in Minneapolis, igniting a bitter dispute between city leaders and the Trump administration.

Federal authorities said the agent fired in self-defense after the woman, identified as 37-year-old Renee Nicole Good, tried to run over ICE personnel, calling her a “violent rioter.”

Minneapolis Mayor Jacob Frey vehemently rejected that account, accusing the agent of reckless action and forcefully telling ICE to leave the city.

The incident occurred amid a surge of ICE agents deployed to Minneapolis as part of a national immigration crackdown.
