Two GSU soldiers and two policemen were ambushed and killed by marauding bandits in Laikipia.
The officers were cornered at Kamwenje area, Laikipia West in the ongoing chaos in the area.
Officials said eight others including seven soldiers were injured in the ambush conducted in Laikipia Nature Conservancy.
This brings the number of security officers shot dead on Wednesday to four.

The KDF officers were reportedly digging a trench around the conservancy when they were killed by suspected bandits.
This has prompted more operations in the area to get the gang behind the attack.
More than 20 security officers have been killed in the area in the past months in attacks.
