Following the attacks in Kampala, Uganda on Tuesday morning, the National Police Service has scaled up its surveillance.
The National Police Service (NPS) beefed up security across the country, deploying personnel from special units to manage security in major cities, towns, and along the Kenyan border.
According to the police notice issued, security installations have been established around the country, with heightened safety.

Security organs in Kenya are on high alert, according to the statement, and will be on standby to defend the lives and property of all persons on Kenyan soil.
"The National Police Service assures the public of their security and safety following terror-related incidences in our neighbouring country earlier today. Our sympathies to victims and families who were affected by such an atrocious act."
In addition to the patrol units, Police officers also mounted a search operation along Nairobi’s Thika Superhighway for a chance inspection.
The Uganda blast has so far claimed two lives and injured more than 20 people in Kampala.
