A 21-year-old guy has been arrested in Mumias, Kakamega County, in connection with the death of famed football enthusiast Isaac Juma.
Milton Namatsi was apprehended at his house in Mumias on Thursday, January 27 after he was linked to the death of the 58-year-old soccer fan, according to a statement released by the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI).
“The suspect, Milton Namatsi, 27, was hauled up from his home by Mumias sleuths after preliminary investigations linked him to the murder,” according to the article.
Juma and his family had just finished their lunch at their house in Ebuyenjere hamlet in Mumias when his killers appeared, according to investigators.
Juma was known for his passion of local football and was recognized as a loyal fan of AFC Leopard and Harambee Stars.
At the time of his death Juma is survived by two wives and 10 children.
