Moses Khamala Nakasala a security guard at Kenya railways in Nairobi was arrested on 19th February 2022 at the railway central workshop.
At the time of arrest, he had 8 pieces of insulated silver coated copper wire and four terminal copper lugs valued at Sh 2,521,200 property of railway corporation.
The accused was apprehended in Court today Thursday before Hon Susan Shitumbi Chief Magistrate Milimani Law Courts.
Mr. Khama Nakasala pleaded not guilty to the offense.
The prosecution side requested the Court to grant a bond commensurate to the property stolen.
However, the defense counsel told the Court that the accused person is not a fright risk and he there stand a right to be released on a reasonable bail and bond terms.
The court released Mr. Khamala Nakasala with a bind of Sh 500,000 and an alternative cash bail of Sh 100,000.
Case to proceed on 7th March 2022 for pretrial.
