Maanzoni Billionaire Buys Iconic 680 Hotel

Machakos-based Maanzoni lodges has bought the iconic 680 Hotel for an estimated Sh1.2 billion. 

According to a transaction advisor who took part in the transaction and talked to the Business Daily under the condition of anonymity, regulatory approval was acquired. 

Maanzoni is owned by tycoon Chris Musau. 

The Sentrim Hotel portfolio, owned by billionaire investor Jagdesh Patel, includes 680.

In 2018, Patel hired real estate agency Knight Frank to help him sell his eight hotels for a guiding price.

The city hotel now joins Maanzoni’s potfolio, which Includes a the three-star lodge with 326 ensuite rooms situated on a 28-acre estate in Lukenya, Machakos.
