The Narok senator, Ledama Olekina has expressed his gratitude to his constituents for re-electing him.
In a statement on Facebook Tuesday night, the legislator stated that he was forever indebted to his people.
“I am forever indebted to my people #themaanation thank you for your love! Ashe oleng oleng … I can never repay you for the love you have showed me today,” Olekina tweeted.
His announcement came even before the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) announced the final results for any seat.
OleKina was in a tight battle with United Democratic Alliances’s (UDA) Mr Samuel Tanui in the county’s senatorial race.
