A 22-year-old man who had been missing since Tuesday, December 6, was discovered in a small tavern in Uthiru, Kiambu county.
Newberry was drinking with recently with local revelers.
The 22-year-old, who went missing on Tuesday about 11 a.m., was last seen at the Sarit center, where he had gone to update his SIM card.
Newberry is then said to have vanished, causing his family and friends to fear.
The young man has subsequently been reunited with his father, who has just arrived from the United Kingdom.
He was taken to a nearby hospital for medical treatment.
