Azimio la Umoja has chosen Narok Senator Ledama ole Kina and his Nairobi counterpart Edwin Sifuna to represent the faction in the scheduled bi-partisan parliamentary engagements.
Raila’s confidants also included Kitui Senator Enoch Wambua.
The other four were from the National Assembly: Amina Mnyanzi (Malindi), Millie Odhiambo (Suba North), David PKosing (Pokot South), and Otiende Amollo (Rarieda).
Raila’s seven-member team was chosen at the Azimio la Umoja parliamentary group meeting in Machakos County.
The meeting was presided over by the ODM leader, who was joined by the coalition’s top leadership, including Narc Kenya leader Martha Karua.
Kenya Kwanza, led by President William Ruto, has yet to release a list of parliamentarians who will meet with Azimio.
The Raila-led faction reiterated the need for the team to be expanded outside of parliament during the meeting, stating that they were not interested in sharing the government.
