5 people have died while three others sustained injuries in an accident involving a personal car and two trailers at Marula area on the Naivasha–Nakuru Highway.
According to Naivasha Deputy OCPD John Kwasa, the Toyota Ractis vehicle heading to Naivasha attempted to overtake a fleet of vehicles before colliding head-on, with an oncoming trailer.
“In the process it collided head on with a trailer, and as a result, this trailer squeezed it against another trailer. We lost 5 Kenyans, 4 ladies and 1 child” Said the OCPD.
The bodies of the deceased were taken to Naivasha Subcounty hospital.
