Police have launched an investigation into the American Airlines flight attendant in a room at the Philadelphia Airport Marriott.
Cleaning staff discovered the disturbing discovery and notified authorities around 10:45 p.m. on Monday, according to WPVI.
The 66-year-old woman was discovered with a sock in her mouth, according to authorities.
According to police in Philadelphia, there were no obvious signs of forced entry, no signs of a struggle, and no weapons were recovered at the scene.
Multiple sealed bottles of prescription medications were discovered in the room, according to WPVI.
The official cause of the woman’s death is unknown, and her identity has not been revealed.
