Ayub Savula Ditches Musalia, Joins Raila

Ayub Savula, the ANC deputy party leader has formally dropped Musalia Mudavadi in favour of Raila Odinga for President.

The powerful MP, who has been a close ally of Musalia’s, has also indicated that he will no longer work with the One Kenya Alliance.

He added that he is still a member of the Amani National Congress, which is responsible for his election to Parliament.

“I have not left the African National Congress (ANC), but I have today formally joined the Azimio La Umoja movement,” Savula said.

Western Kenya leaders led by COTU secretary general Francis Atwoli organized an Azimio La Umoja rally in Bukhungu Stadium, where the MP spoke.
