A KCB employee, Rodney Onduko Omwoyo, has been charged with stealing Ksh 585,288 from the bank.
He pleaded not guilty to the charges and was granted Ksh500,000 bond with one surety with an alternative cash bail of Ksh250,000.
The court was told that on diverse dates between September 1 and 28th, 2022, the accused at KCB Kencom house along Moi Avenue, being a servant employed as a business development officer, stole the money which came to his possession by virtual of his employment.
Appearing before Chief Magistrate Micheni Wendy, the accused denied particulars of the charges.
