In the latest statistics concerning the state of the pandemic, the Health ministry noted that all the positive cases except 7, are Kenyans. 217 are males, and 92 females.

51 more patients have been discharged, raising the total number of recoveries to 2,287.

CAS Dr. Rashid Aman noted the increasing arrogance by Kenyans on following health protocols.

“Many of our people are going on their business as if we have no pandemic. A growing number of positive cases indicate containment measures are not being adhered to. Players in the transport are ferrying people like before,” said Aman.

Worldwide cases have reached 11.23 million while 6.04 million patients have recovered, according to the latest Johns Hopkins University tally. However, more than 534,000 people have died from the virus.
