Cruise Ship With 800 Tourists Docks In Mombasa

A cruise ship with 800 tourists has docked in Mombasa county.

The ship was received by Tourism Cabinet Secretary, Hon. Peninah Malonza welcomed the crew and passengers aboard MS Nautica that docked at the port of Mombasa.

The tourists on board are set to experience the coast, products, and attractions that have made Kenya a world-class tourism destination.

This comes less than a month had passed since the MV World Odyssey, which carried roughly 1000 visitors, landed in the Mombasa harbor.

By the end of March 2023, the nation anticipates at least three more cruise ships to make port calls in Mombasa.

Ms. Malonza praised Kenyans for their excellent use of holidays during this festive season, which helped the business recover from a downturn brought on by the Covid-19 outbreak in 2020.

The majority of the country’s tourist locations, according to Ms. Malonza, are packed to the gills with lodging options and tourist attractions.
