Seven people, including five family members, have been seriously injured in a road accident near Kibunja town on the busy Nakuru Eldoret Highway.
The Matatu they were traveling in from Nairobi to Eldoret collided with a lorry that had emergency brakes.
The five family members were on their way to Kitale town for a family get-together function to celebrate the Christmas season with their family members.
Molo traffic police officers, led by Moli traffic commander James Gatara, rushed to the scene of the accident, urging road users to be more cautious on the roads, especially during the festive season.
The injured people are being treated at Molo Subcounty Hospital.
