CS Lands Alice Wahome, Fires Warning to Individuals Sitting on Public Land

    People who are sitting on public land have received a warning from Lands CS Hon. Alice Wahome. CS. Alice stated that the Ministry will work with the DCI and EACC and will do everything in its power to reclaim public land that has been taken without authorization during her spontaneous visit of the Kilifi County Lands Registry.

    Additionally, CS Alice has promised to expedite the compensation procedure for land and property owners impacted by the Dongo Kundu Special Economic Zone in Mombasa in accordance with H.E. Dr. William Samoei Ruto’s stern directives.

    CS Alice has also stated that in order to ensure that the right list is used, efforts are being made to remove imposters who anticipate payment for their services.

    The CS has commended the County Commissioner Mr. Josephat Biwott  who was present and the Governor H.E Gideon Mung’aro  In absence and asked for deepened collaboration in resolving disputes and settlement so that both the National and County Governments can implement their mandate.

    The spontaneous tour by CS Wahome’s registry was intended to evaluate working conditions and obstacles to efficient service delivery.
