Former Vihiga Senator George Khaniri and Jirongo’s Family Friend Raised Serious Questions During The Late Cyrus Jirongo’s Funeral Service in Lumakanda Home in Kakamega County.
Khaniri Maintained That Jirongo Never Drove Himself to Naivasha on That Fateful Night. He Stated That He Was Among The Last People to Meet and Speak To Him on That Night.
“I Must Be One of The Very Last People to Speak to Him Kwa Simu, Kama Kuna Watu Wengine Walimpingia Labda Ni Wale Walikuwa Na Yeye Alipopata Mauti Yake…” Khaniri Said.
Khaniri Further Stated That He Spoke With Jirongo at 11.00 P.M For 3 Minutes.
“Mheshimiwa Jirongo Alikuwa Ameketi Oasis, Mimi Nikaja Nikawapata Wameketi Plale Na Speaker Wetangula Na Watu Wengine Wawili Ikielekea Saa Tatu” Khaniri Stated on His Last Time He Saw Jirongo at Oasis.
“Vile Tunaambiwa Alipatikana Naivasha Na Yeye Hakuwa Na Mpango Wa Safari Ya Naivasha I Can Vow on That! Jirongo Never Drove Himself to Naivasha! Stop Lying To Us!” Khaniri Stated That it’s a Lie.
Khaniri Stated That He Will Continue To Ask Those Unanswered Questions.
He Further Questioned How Comes That a Bus Carrying 65 Passengers, Majority Being Luhyas That No Single Passenger Has Come Out To Claim That He Was Onboard And Saw The Accident Apart From The Driver Stating That Was a Lie.
Khaniri Said That He Among The First People To Reach at The Scene and He Drove Very Fast From Nairobi And Upon Reaching, He Did Not Empty Bus and There Was No Passenger on That Bus.
“I Was One of The First People Kufika Hapo, Nilipata Gari Likiwa Palepale Mahali Kwa Ajali,,, Basi Likipata Ajali Lazima Waita Basi Lingine Lichukue Hao Watu, I Didn’t See a Single Person on The Site, Hao Watu Walienda Wapi?” Khaniri Questioned.
He Also Stated That Jirongo’s Car Was Completely Damaged, But Upon Viewing The Body The Injuries Did Not Conquer With The Impact.
Further He Said That According To Private Investigators Report, Jirongo’s Car Had Two Passengers Onboard at The Petrol Station, Just Seconds Before The Car Was Captured Being Involved on Tragic Accident But After Accident It’s Only Jirongo Who Was Found Inside The Car.
Khaniri Demanded Answers From The Government For All Those Unanswered Questions.
