Detectives from the Special Service Unit detectives have arrested a suspected rapist namely Dennis Wekesa at Gachie Area.
Wekesa is suspected to have raped his victim on 7th March 2020 after the foreign national residing in Kenya requested a bodaboda trip via a taxi app.
The woman was coming from Anahita Apartments within Parklands and was to be dropped at Siaya road within Kileleshwa.
While on their way to Kileleshwa, the motorcycle rider stopped abruptly, wrestled, raped and dumped her, then fled with her personal effects.
The victim was treated at a local hospital, discharged and is in a fair condition.
The 27-year-old suspect will be arraigned once necessary Police procedure is complete.
