DCI Launches Manhunt For 35 Al Shabaab Terror Suspects Behind Lamu

The Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) has asked the public to he help arrest thirty-five terror suspects believed to be members of the al-shabaab terror group.


The suspects are armed and dangerous, according to DCI, and are responsible for the recurrent terrorist attacks and mayhem in Lamu County and the greater Boni Enclave.

Meanwhile, the suspects have been instructed to surrender to any Kenyan police station immediately to assist with the continuing investigations.

Maalim Ayman, Ramadhan Kioko, Abdullahi Banati, Andreas Martin Muller, Abu Amar, Suleiman Maktum, Abdiweli Yassin Isse, Idris Dhul Kifir, Silla, Ibrahim Magag, HassaneTijana, and Sheikh Nganglangalam, a messenger, are among those on the list.


Interior Cabinet Secretary Kithure Kindiki initially referenced the gang on Tuesday evening, vowing to employ all available methods to locate and punish the culprits.
