Death Toll In Nakuru Road Accident Rises To 11

    The death toll from Monday’s accident on the Nakuru-Eldoret highway has risen to 11.

    Dr. James Waweru, the medical superintendent at Nakuru Referral Hospital, confirmed that two people died upon arrival and one died while at the facility.

    Earlier, at the scene of the accident, Nakuru County police commander Samuel Ndanyi stated that eight people died on the spot.

    The accident involved a matatu heading towards Nakuru and a truck heading towards Eldoret.

    The vehicles collided head-on on the Ngata stretch. While the matatu driver died, the truck driver is yet to be found.
