Police in Kimilili are pursuing Kimilili Member of Parliament Didmus Barasa who is in hiding after an NGCDF Kimilili Constituency vehicle with registration number GK948J was impounded this morning at his homestead
The DCI officers from the Government Check Unit said they had been tracing the vehicle, whos’ plates were swapped.
According to reports, MP Barasa, who is defending his parliamentary seat on a United Democratic Alliance (UDA) ticket, had the government vehicle fully branded with UDA Party colors and photos.
If found culpable, Hon. Barasa could face charges of theft, misuse of government resources among other charges.
