DJ Joe Mfalme Linked To DCI Officer’s Murder

A Kenyan DJ was detained on Friday following the fatal assault of a police officer in Kikuyu, Kiambu County.

Police are questioning Joseph Mwenda Munoru, also known as ‘DJ Joe Mfalme’, as well as his bouncer, driver, and photographer.

Three police officers have also been questioned.

Mfalme and his colleagues were returning home to Kikuyu when they were engaged in a small, non-injury accident. This escalated into a vicious and ultimately murderous anger.

Police said seven people are now persons of interest in the case, as investigators continue their work.

They reportedly assaulted Inspector Felix Kelian Kentos on March 16, 2024, according to authorities.

Kelian was based in the Kabete Directorate of Criminal Investigation.
