Services at Embu level five hospital were paralysed after cleaning staff downed their tools demanding salaries arrears totalling to four months.
Carrying placards and singing songs to castigate County and their employer stormed out of the hospital thus paralysis services.
The workers work under Smart shine which is a contracted company by the county government to Carry out cleaning services at said facility.
The cleaners said that they have worked for several months without pay which they want to be honoured before they resume their duties.
They castigate the management of Embu level five for neglecting them but paying those under the Embu hospital.
