Hon. Soipan Tuya, Cabinet Secretary for Environment, Climate Change, and Forestry, is currently attending the National Assembly Departmental Committee on Environment, Forestry, and Mining to discuss the 2023 Budget Policy Statement (BPS).
The meeting’s chair, Hon. David Gikaria (Nakuru Town West), was assisted in the chairing duties by Hon. Charles Kamuren (Baringo South).
Topics to be covered during the meeting include important sectoral policies supporting the expenditure ceilings, important programs, outputs, and targets for the medium term.
The PSs Eng Festus K Ng’eno Environmental Department, Ephantus Kimotho State Department for Forestry, CEOs from SAGAs, Mamo B Mamo (Nema), Alex Lemarkoko Kenya Forestry Service, Joshua Cheboiywo KEFRIHQ, Belinda Akello (NET), Samson Toniok, and Nyaberi Lumumba were among those who were with the CS.
