Fire Razes Down Eldoret Golf Club

The iconic members-only Eldoret Club has been destroyed by fire, which is thought to have been caused by an electrical fault.

The 3 a.m. fire severely damaged the social joint, which was popular for hosting high-ranking members of society from all walks of life.

There is also a nine-hole golf course and other recreational facilities at the club.

According to a facility worker, the fire began in the kitchen and quickly spread to the conference hall, lounge, family room, snooker room, and dining area.

On Wednesday morning, firefighters from the Uasin Gishu County government were still battling the blaze.

Club officials confirmed the incident but refused to speak with journalists. They stated that they will comment on the incident once all club members have been notified of the accident.
