Harambee Starlets To Host Cameroon At Nyayo Stadium; Entrance Is Free

The Football Kenya Federation (FKF) has announced that the Harambee Starlets’ Women Africa Cup of Nations (WAFCON) qualifier against Cameroon will be free of charge. 

The move is intended to rally enthusiastic fans and well-wishers in support of the team’s bid for a second appearance at the prestigious WAFCON tournament.

Fans from all walks of life will have the one-of-a-kind opportunity to witness this thrilling match for free when the gates to Nyayo Stadium open at 12 noon on Tuesday, September 26.

Schools and academies have also been cordially invited, with a special seating area set aside for them.

The first leg of this epic showdown, which took place on Friday, September 22, in Douala, saw Harambee Starlets lose to their Cameroonian opponents by a narrow margin.

The aggregate winners of these two-leg qualifiers will earn automatic qualification to the 2024 Africa Women’s Cup of Nations, which will be held in Morocco.
