A section of residents of a village in Hola, Tana River County have called on Kenya Wildlife Service (KWS) personnel to hunt and kill a hyena that attacked and killed a 12-year-old boy.
The body parts of the boy were discovered in a thicket in the area.
The animal had vanished from the scene.
In the same area, a crocodile attacked and killed a 16-year-old girl who was fetching water from the Tana River.
The remains of the girl were taken to a local mortuary.
