Instagram Tests Out Posting On Web Browsers

Instagram will soon introduce a feature that allows users to compose posts directly from their desktop or laptop browser.

As a result, the app and the approach outlined at the very end are now the only ways to generate an Instagram post. In some ways, Instagram’s lack of such a feature is understandable given that it is a smartphone app with a large mobile user base.

Creating an Instagram post on the desktop is nearly identical to doing it from the mobile app.

A button (a “+” icon inside a rounded box) is added to the top of the Desktop View, similar to the latter, to allow users to create new posts from their desktop or laptop screen.

You’ll be able to drag and drop photos and movies after clicking the icon. They’ll also have access to an editor with cropping and filtering features.

You may include descriptions, places, and, of course, people in your images. You will most likely be able to deactivate comments in advanced settings.
