Detectives from the DCI are looking into the death of a government official who was discovered at her home in Kirinyaga county.
The body of Jacqueline Waliaula, an assistant county commissioner for Kirinyaga East, was found inside her home on Wednesday morning.
According to the source, the deceased’s body was found in her bedroom by a nanny, who then called a police officer who lived next door.
“Her nanny got up to start making breakfast, but since she hadn’t left her room, she suspected something was wrong. As soon as she entered her room, she discovered that she was lying on her stomach. She dialed a police officer who was their neighbour, and it was then that her death was confirmed ” he added.
