TikTok actress Jehane Thomas died abruptly on Friday at the age of 30 after suffering from debilitating migraines for several months.
According to the American Academy of Ophthalmology, Thomas was diagnosed with optic neuritis, a disorder that causes enlargement of the eye’s optic nerve, on Instagram.
“I was diagnosed with Optic Neuritis a few months ago after nearly 2 years of being told my migraines were stress related,” the 30-year-old revealed on March 5.
“They then thought I had MS which was ruled out (for now) but now the pressure in my head literally takes me off my feet.”
“I wanna start my thank yous by saying a huge thanks to my mom and dad who are always there to help me with the boys,” the social media star wrote at the time.
“I hate being wiped off my feet with a migraine or sickness but they will always be the first ones to take the boys for a few hours and I’m so grateful to have you both.”
Thomas, who had 67,000 TikTok followers, detailed several of her regular trips to the hospital on social media.
