The defamation action involving ex-husbands Johnny Depp and Amber Heard has been settled in Virginia.
Heard was found guilty of slander by a unanimous jury and was sentenced to pay Depp $ 15 million instead of $ 50 million.
The final court session was supposed to take place on June 1 at 22:00, however it was postponed due to the verdict forms being empty.
The jury was made up of seven individuals, five men and two women.
The lawsuit was filed in December 2018 in response to a commentary by Heard that appeared in The Washington Post.
Without naming names, the actress depicts Depp as a public person who reflects domestic violence.
