Jubilee flaunts development record in Garissa — Matiang’i says

Uhuru Kenyatta’s government has spent on the upward of Kshs. 15 billion on development projects in Garissa County.

In his capacity as the chairperson of the National Development Implementation and Communication Cabinet Committee (NDICCC), Dr. Fred Matiang’i attributed the success to its ‘zero tolerance to discriminative policies’.

“All Kenyans are equal no matter which part of the country one is from and will be served with the same level of dignity.” Matiang’i said.

The projects include; the Kenya Defence Force (KDF) Modika Army Barracks, the 200-acre Holwadag Irrigation Project in Balambala, Last Mile Electricity Connectivity and Masalani Water and Sanitation Project in Ijara

Others include the Construction of Modika-Nuno Road traversing through Fafi, Dadaab and Balambala, and the Masalani Level 4 hospital in Ijara and Garissa Level 5 hospital in Dujis, among others.
