The Judiciary and the Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission (EACC) have initiated a collaborative study of the Judiciary’s policies, processes, and practices to uncover potential loopholes for corruption.
The first section will examine Court Registries, Records Management, and the Department of Building Services, before moving on to Financial and Supply Chain Management, Human resources, Information technology, and communication.
The goal of the Judiciary’s “Social Transformation through Access to Justice (STAJ)” vision is to increase public trust and confidence in the system.

Chief Justice Martha Koome said the review will tackle and eliminate avenues exploited by graft culprits.
"We must adopt a system review of the Judiciary's entire operational apparatus to tackle and eliminate avenues and loopholes that are prone to exploitation by those who may be tempted to engage in unethical and corrupt acts."
"The review is a symbol that the Judiciary and EACC are committed to enhance and redouble our efforts to combat corruption and give effect to the normative command in Chapter Six (6) of the Constitution."
