Karua, Kalonzo Differ Over Raila Role In Maandamano

Narc Kenya leader Martha Karua publicly differed with Wiper leader Kalonzo Musyoka over Azimio getting back into the streets should the bipartisan talks fail.

Speaking during an interdenominational service, Kalonzo Musyoka said he will not allow Raila to lead Maandamano.. or street protests again affirming that it’s about time Kenyans did that themselves.

“Msiwe mnangojea sisi tu. I will not allow Raila arudi kwa maandamano. Let the country do it. Si Raila kila wakati na Kalonzo wanapigwa teargas,” the Wiper leader said.

Martha Karua in a quick rejoinder reaffirmed their stand on Maandamano should the talks fail to achieve their purpose.

“My brother Kalonzo, I’m not saying I will not go to the streets. If it becomes necessary I will.”

Karua added that Azimio will stop at nothing to ensure that the plight of Kenyans is addressed.

In the past week, Raila Odinga publicly ‘thanked’ Kalonzo Musyoka for his unwavering support; read to many as a public endorsement at his Bondo turf.

Though he clarified he was being misquoted,  Kalonzo Musyoka’s footsoldiers have begun touting him as the preferred successor to steer Azimio ship into State House.
