Magoha to monitor KCPE exams in Mombasa as more that 1 million candidates sit their exams.
Professor George Magoha will be monitoring KCPE exams in Mombasa as more than 1 million candidates are expected to sit their exams today beginning at 9.00am .
Education CS George Magoha has assured the public that the exams will be administered in an environment friendly manner to the learners adding that all integrity issues have been solved.
Magoha has also warned head teachers against blocking class eight candidates from sitting for their national examinations.
“I want to take this opportunity to warn very few centre managers, who may attempt to block children from taking examinations for whatever reasons. You cannot stop a child to sit for an exam because they failed to pay Ksh.300.” said Magoha
He also stated that this year they did not pick any fake examination papers prior to the starting date.Magoha assured parents, teachers and pupils not to be worried about cheating as there will be 100percent transition into secondary schools 10 helicopters are standby to deliver examination papers to areas affected by floods in good time
