There was near pandemonium at the MV Harambee ferry when a commuter’s phone battery exploded.
According to reports from the authorities, The gadget coincidentally exploded at the deep sea, the same place and vessel from which Miriam and her daughter plunged to their death.
Panicked ferry users watched as Salim Kamanza, the owner of the phone tossed the smoldering gadget to the deep sea.
Kenya Ferry Management confirmed the incident, indicating that all was in control. Mr. Kamanza recorded a statement with the Ferry police.
