KeNHA issues tender for Horn of Africa road project

Kenya National Highways Authority(KeNHA) has called out bids for the improvement of Isiolo-Kulamawe-Modogashe Road.
The works are part of the Horn of Africa Gateway Development Programme(HoAGDP) project.

The project development will improve the movement of people and access to social services to communities at designated locations along the targeted sections of the Isiolo-Mandera Regional Road Corridor.

The World Bank will finance the works geared towards undertaking road works associated with installing a fibre optic cable along the 77 kilometre Kulamawe to Isiolo.
Also to be improved will be Kulamwawe, Modogashe and Samatar Road.
President Uhuru Kenya has prioritised Northern Kenya infrastructure projects as part of his legacy projects.
