Wangai Ndirangu’s tenure as chairman of the Kenya National Highways Authority has ended.
On July 22, 2019, Ndirangu was named a director of the Premier Road Agency. Friday was his last day of employment.
Transport Cabinet Secretary James Macharia did not extend his tenure as a director.
Given that he possesses the director credentials required by the Kenya Roads Act of 2007, he is no longer able to act as a chair.
The most well-known of the three road scions established by a law of parliament to promote reforms in the roads industry is KeNHA.
Others include the Kenya Roads Board, Kenya Rural Roads Authority, and Kenya Urban Roads Authority (KRB).
