A marriage proposal video of a couple at a KFC restaurant in South Africa dominated twitter yesterday with the hash tag #KFCProposal.

The video shows a man kneeling and presenting a ring to his partner in the middle of enjoying their fried chicken.

This prompted KFC South Africa to share the video and asked for help in finding the couple.

The video went viral getting more then 17,000 retweets.

But wait it did not end there. Several companies and individuals started offering to help the couple plan their wedding, honeymoon and even performances.

In fact their children were also promised of free education by the Higher Education Science and Technology of South Africa.

South Africa’s official Audi account also tweeted offering to drive them to their honey moon destinations.

South Africas popular singer Zanke Bantwini also offered to perform at their wedding for free.

The couple received a lot offers ranging from hotel destinations, a free house, cooking pots, sports wear, hair products and thousands of dnations.

The two who were later identified asBhut’ Hector and Nonhlanhla could not hold back their joy as this was a total surprise to them.

The couple revealed the through a soth African media outlet that they got married in 2012, but them was unsatistfied by the rings he bought at the time and wanted to buy his wife something better.

“I don’t work so I didn’t have enough cash to give wife Nonhlanhla a befitting wedding/jewellery but wanted to do something small,” Hector said.

The video was taken by a passerby who then shared it in a whats app group, Facebook and Instagram.
