Jubilee party’s ticket to the Kibra Parliamentary seat, Mc. Donald Mariga has been cleared by Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission.
The former professional footballer’s nomination faced a brick wall after IEBC officials declined his vetting papers on the grounds of not being a registered voter.
Mariga who despite being told to wait for verifications proceeded with his campaign trail with former senator Boni Khalwale claiming that they will continue to woo Kibera residents ”as IEBC finishes going through the voting list”
“It is the Kibra residents who will decide whom they want to vote for. Everything will go on well on November 7th, because I know I have all the documents.” Said Mariga.
